THE “NEST”

Stashed away along the valley’s ridge line in the small town of New Milford, CT, a driven young man named Roman, grinds away on a Black Top Fender Stratocaster in the attic space above dad’s garage. With that precarious climb up a rickety old wooden ladder, he finds solace in his nest of creativity.

For months, the sounds of instrumental exploration of 90’s grunge and alternative metal echo through the fields of corn and grass that outlies his home, as he finds his groove of artistic expression.

As the depths of emotion vibrate the country air and starlit skies, night after night; the need to seek out and assemble a group of local young passionate musicians eventually comes to fruition.

The legend is told that as the sounds of guitars, bass, drums and vocals fill the evening air, deer and other wildlife are often found gathering in the adjacent field and gazing into the nest, as if they are witnessing the next generation of musical greatness.

“DEERNEST” has been born.
